Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research tasks and data analysis using tools such as STATA, SPSS, R, or similar
software. - Assist in data collection, digitization of tools, and report writing including presentations
- Participate in training, capacity-building sessions, and dissemination.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality research and analysis projects
- Contribute to marketing efforts within the organization as assigned including travelling.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or above in a relevant field
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in tools such as STATA, SPSS, R, NVIVO, or similar
software - Strong programming skills and proficiency in software such as ODK, Kobo Collect, Comcare, or
similar software - Strong data visualization and analytic skills and proficiency in tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, R
GGPlot, or similar software - Excellent report writing and proposal development skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely while ensuring availability for in-person meetings as and when necessary
- Access to a functioning laptop or computer, stable internet connection, and constant electricity
supply
Renumeration:
- Monthly stipend of 6000 KES (approximately 40 USD) for 6 months (subject to review after the
the first phase of the internship) - Monthly internet support of 250 KES
- Monthly communication allowance of 250 KES
Supervisor:
- You will be reporting to Director of Data Science and Capacity Building.
