Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in research tasks and data analysis using tools such as STATA, SPSS, R, or similar software.
- Contribute to data collection, digitization of tools, and report writing, including presentations.
- Participate in training sessions and capacity-building activities.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality research and analysis projects.
- Contribute to marketing efforts within the organization as assigned.
- Embrace learning opportunities and apply statistical knowledge to real-world situations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- Strong passion for the application of statistics in real-world situations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as STATA, SPSS, R, NVIVO, or similar software.
- Familiarity with programming software such as ODK, Kobo Collect, Comcare, or similar.
- Ability to visualize and analyze data using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, R GGPlot, or similar software.
- Excellent report writing and proposal development skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with a remote team.
- Access to a functioning laptop or computer, stable internet connection, and constant electricity supply.
Attachment Details:
- Attachment period: 3 months.
- Attachment fee: 3,000 KES (1,000 per month). Note: this is paid at once.
- The fee is towards trainings within the organization, commitment to the attachment period, certification and recommendations.
- Applicants may have the opportunity to be absorbed into LERIS Hub or secure jobs with other organizations based on availability.
- The attachment opportunity is open to newly graduated students or those developing interest in statistics.
